Measure the diameter

Measure the diameter of the hot dip galvanized hex bolt threaded portion of the bolt using calipers.

Measure the length

Measure the length from the bearing surface to the end of the bolt (excluding the bolt head).

Determine the strength

Select Grade 8.8 or higher based on load-bearing and safety requirements.
