M16 L anchor bolts (or anchor screws) are a common fixing, mainly used for anchoring and installation in scenes such as equipment, steel structures, and building foundations.
Industrial equipment fixing
Machinery and equipment: For example, the base installation of heavy equipment such as large machine tools, generators, and water pumps in factories. After installing it, the machine will not run around or shake.
Steel structure foundation
Used for connecting steel columns, brackets, towers (such as communication towers and street light poles) with concrete foundations.
Iron racks/iron towers: Like signal towers, street light poles, and temporary houses on construction sites, use it to weld steel columns to the concrete ground.
Building facilities
Structures that require a stable ground, such as temporary houses, container houses, solar brackets, fences, etc. They are not afraid of falling down in windy and rainy weather.
Large machinery/transportation facilities
Bridges, cranes, rails, and other occasions that require high tensile strength.
Pre-embedded method
Before pouring concrete, insert the M16 anchor bolts before pouring cement, and screw the equipment directly after the cement dries.
Post-installation method (later drilling installation) (used with FIXDEX & GOODFIX chemical anchors, chemical anchoring/expansion anchoring)
Drill holes in the hardened concrete and fix the bolts with expansion sleeves or chemical adhesives (such as epoxy resin).
Material: Q235 steel is fine for ordinary environments, and stainless steel (304/316) is selected for humid places.
Length: Determined according to the thickness of the concrete and the height of the equipment base. Generally, the exposed part needs to leave enough space for nut locking.
Load requirements (bearing capacity): The tensile/shear strength of the M16 bolt needs to match the weight of the equipment and the vibration load. The heavier the equipment and the greater the vibration, the stronger the bolts must be.
Nuts + washers: Use M16 nuts and enlarged washers to disperse pressure, and washers can prevent the ground from being crushed.
Casing/template: PVC casing is often used to protect the threads when pre-buried, which is convenient for adjusting the position.
