Blind Rivet
Advantages of blind rivets
Single-sided construction: no back operation is required, solving the problem of space limitation.
Quick installation: it can be completed using a rivet gun (manual/electric), which is more efficient than welding or bolts.
Waterproof and anti-loosening: closed rivets (such as drum type and lantern type) can seal holes and prevent vibration from falling off.
Material compatibility: optional aluminum, steel, stainless steel, copper and other materials, adaptable to different substrates.
Common types and applicable scenarios
Notes precautions when using blind rivets
Aperture matching: The rivet diameter must be 0.1-0.2mm larger than the hole (such as Φ4 rivets with Φ3.8-3.9mm holes).
Thickness range: The total riveting thickness must be within the "clamping range" of the rivet (the product parameters will be indicated).
Material selection:
Aluminum rivets (lightweight, corrosion resistance);
Stainless steel rivets (high strength and rust resistance, higher cost);
Copper rivets (conductive/electromagnetic shielding occasions).
Tool requirements: Choose a rivet gun according to the size of the rivet (e.g. ordinary gun for Φ3-Φ5mm, heavy gun for Φ6mm and above).
